The central thesis of this chapter is that a singular, dynamic, and creative cosmic time is not merely a viable philosophical alternative to the static, eternalist "block universe," but is a strongly motivated interpretation consistent with our best cosmology. Cosmology supplies a natural, observables-anchored foliation for our approximately Friedmann-Lemaître-Robertson-Walker (FLRW), globally hyperbolic universe; this strongly motivates (but does not entail) a process-realist ontology.
