Planarian Two-Head Regeneration
A planarian cut and bioelectrically perturbed regenerates two heads—the morphogenetic target has been rewritten. Genome identical, form divergent. The specimen isolates the bioelectric attractor as construction plan: what is maintained is a tissue-scale voltage pattern that prices possible morphologies. Cessation or hijacking of that pattern yields anatomical counterparts that molecular inventories alone cannot predict.
